Noise is a common problem in many workplaces. Thousands of workers every year suffer from preventable but irreversible hearing loss due to high workplace noise levels. Since occupational hearing loss can be a gradual process, it's often less noticeable than other types of workplace injuries. In this course, we'll go over the responsibilities of employers regarding hearing protection, we'll discuss what hazardous noise levels are, we'll cover the various types of hearing PPE, and how to care for that equipment.This content complies with OSHA regulation 1910.95.
