Initiating drug testing is one of the more uncomfortable tasks associated with being a supervisor of employees in safety-sensitive positions. But in the transportation industry, it's a standard part of the job. As a supervisor, you can alleviate some of the discomfort by knowing the federal rules and regulations regarding testing.
